Another angle of the old produce barn in the park at Paterson NSW Australia. The town has lovingly preserved many of their pioneer cottages and barns and the local museum that is open on a Sunday is well worth a look. Periodic town walks are also organised for those interested. This old barn was built off the ground to prevent vermin from getting into the produce stores.
This shot was taken on the 16th July 2008 (mid afternoon in full sun) using a Nikon D80, 55-200 mm lens set to landscape (automatic shutter) and was hand held.
I remembered your other shot of this barn, taken from the other side, topside, even before scrolling down to see you had included it here. Amazing how different it is from this perspective and the different treatment…is this the ‘not for public viewing’ side I wonder?lol!!
But its a stunning shot, wonderful angle and perspective, amazing clarity, (particularly being a hand held shot!!!) and a great contrast of manmade vs the natural (Human and Nature group?)
Thanks Jan for this very descriptive reply – most welcome as usual. Its raining here today – terrible weather so I’m digging through files. I always enjoy your responses.
