Another shot of big seas off Newcastle Beach in NSW Australia. The mixed colours of surf and spray add to the beauty of this landscape ocean landscape. This image was taken from the Canoe Pool at Newcastle Baths looking south with a Nikon D80, 55-200 mm VR lens, set to automatic landscape setting. No tripod was used.

WOW! Just brilliant! The color of the water is such an amazing blue!
Thanks Megan – with the high seas these waves were really churning and stirring up the sand below so I think this is where you get the different colours. The darker shade would be the deeper water or rocks.
