Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (Brunfelsia)by Bev Pascoe
This plant is also known as “Kiss me Quick” because on the first day the flowers are purple, the second day they are mauve and the third day white. I have had this plant growing in my hothouse for a number of years as they are very front tender.
An added bonus about Red Bubble is I am learning names about a lot of plants that have popped up in my garden, I moved this plant over 12 months ago and it has survived the shocking summer last year, fingers crossed for this heat wave. Regards Michelle.
Wow Michelle, so you’ve got Brunfelsia growing in your garden in Boronia! I lived in Ferntree Gully for several decades although didn’t have this plant then. It is generally happy in the hot weather up north but they don’t cope well with frost so mine is in the hot house most of the time. Bev
