Mr Grey has been living in our barn for at least a couple of years and would disappear as soon as he saw any person. I started leaving little food portions out there for him and obviously he found them. Gradually he has gotten closer to the house and would allow me to feed him from a distance of a few feet. Over the last couple of months he has completely quietened down and as soon as a door is opened he just strolls into the house and makes himself at home. It did take me a few attempts before I could get a flea collar around his neck but once it was on he was happy.
He and Ella, the tortoiseshell, don’t really care too much for each other so generally they just ignore one another.

Photography & travel are my passions. I’m a member of the Australian Photographic Society and have competed and also judged at many National Photographic Exhibitions and was also invited to judge at an International Photographic competition in Swansea, Wales in 2006. My choice of camera is Olympus; currently I have an E410 and E520 with several lenses. I keep a Canon Ixus in the side pocket of my handbag for those times when something worth photographing unexpectedly pops up.

Hello Bev. now that is a cat whom I could look after. Looks a bit friendlier than my moggie.

Thanks John, yes he is a very nice cat who I think has had a tough life earlier so it took him a long time to trust me. He came in the house this morning and as far as I know he did not go out again so I will have to wait until he gets hungry and reappears as he has found a good hiding spot.
