Magnolias are one of the sure signs of spring in our neighbourhood, and although very fleeting, their beauty always leaves me in awe. It is a real joy to follow the magnolia walk, as there are so many magnolia trees gracing the front gardens of houses where I live. Unfortunately ours is not one of them, but I always have my camera handy.
Painting is such an integral part of my personality and my life. I find much joy and satisfaction in the process, and if the results are pleasing then I am also gratified, but I must admit it is the process that intrigues me and sparks my creative juices.
I paint primarily in watercolour but love to experiment with other media, especially in combination with my watercolour. I would be honoured if you were inclined to take the time to browse through my work.

Very beautiful, Bev….I love the cascading composition. I was surprised to read that magnolias grow in Canada. I’ve seen them here in the southern part of the US & thought that the southern warmer areas were where they grew.
I know it seems unusual, but we do have them growing here and in profusion. They must be much hardier than we think. Thanks for the comment, Marsha.
