Watercolour on 140 lb. Arches cold press paper. Magnolias are one of the sure signs of spring in our neighbourhood, and although very fleeting, their beauty always leaves me in awe. It is a real joy to follow the magnolia walk, as there are so many magnolia trees gracing the front gardens of houses where I live. Unfortunately ours is not one of them, but I always have my camera handy.
That signature gorgeous composition and stylish layers of wash so push this lads buttons , mesmerizing floral display Dear Bev ……. My best wishes Paulx
There you go, making my day again. Thanks so much, Paul. Your comments always lift me up. You are so much appreciated.
Very beautiful, Bev….I love the cascading composition. I was surprised to read that magnolias grow in Canada. I’ve seen them here in the southern part of the US & thought that the southern warmer areas were where they grew.
I know it seems unusual, but we do have them growing here and in profusion. They must be much hardier than we think. Thanks for the comment, Marsha.
