You can definitely see the influence of Linda Kemp in this painting. I took workshops with Linda a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with this organic/ abstract approach to negative painting. Every once in awhile I feel the urge to create another in order to assure myself that I have not forgotten the technique. This is the result of one of those urges.
