Watercolour on 140 lb. Arches cold press. This painting was done to satisfy my need for a lighter and brighter season and to make sure I had not forgotten how to paint negatively. I have not done a negative painting in awhile and I sometimes worry that I will forget how to do it. After only a few minutes, I felt right at home, however.

Just beautiful, Bev. Doesn’t look to me that you’ve forgotten anything at all!
Thanks, Marsha. I always panic that I will forget how to even paint if I don’t do it on a regular basis. I thing many of us are in this boat.

Don’t paint, can’t paint but I do know positive from negative and I can’t think of a negative comment to make about this beautiful picture. Alma
