Watercolour on 140 lb. Arches cold press paper. Garden flowers painted using the negative painting method. There are a few positive areas applied during the initial laying down of colour, but the rest was created using negative painting. The danger for me is to get too carried away picking out shapes that I think I see and thereby making it too detailed.
