Can Trees Really be Negative? by

Watercolour on 140 lb. Arches, Cold Press.

Trees have been my theme for the last couple of weeks and this is painted as a part of that theme. It started out being a positive painting of trees, but my negative brain took over, so the technique is primarily that of negative painting. Must try to be more positive!

About bevmorgan

Painting is such an integral part of my personality and my life. I find much joy and satisfaction in the process, and if the results are pleasing then I am also gratified, but I must admit it is the process that intrigues me and sparks my creative juices.
I paint primarily in watercolour but love to experiment with other media, especially in combination with my watercolour. I would be honoured if you were inclined to take the time to browse through my work.

It looks like it got nice depth in the painting . As the softer colours move towards the back. And the darker become more powerful at the front. Very nice, Cheers Esther
