Yorkshire is one of my most favourite holiday destinations and this is partly due to the marvelous farm land and the patchworks it creates. I have tried to represent that effect in this painting and others shown here on my red bubble site. I thoroughly enjoy this style of painting and the range of colours it offers to me as an artist. Another very nice composition, but with the addition of the sheep and farm buildings a much lighter whimsical feeling and letting the paper breath a little more seems to help.

Hi Bev! This is so pretty and such a lovely style of painting. This is such a coincidence for me because, early evening I lay down to rest from doing yard work all day…..I tuned in to Netflix on the Internet and watched about 3 episodes of “All Creatures Great and Small” which I am sure you are familiar with. Then I went on RB and there was your painting of the Yorkshire Dales! Beautiful work, as usual Bev.
