I love hydrangeas and especially the pink ones. This is a beautiful specimen which grows in my friend’s garden, a place we often gather to paint.

Painting is such an integral part of my personality and my life. I find much joy and satisfaction in the process, and if the results are pleasing then I am also gratified, but I must admit it is the process that intrigues me and sparks my creative juices.

    Great job on the watercolours Bev. We have several around the yard and while they have leafed out they hadn’t started budding yet. Beautiful art.

    Extremely beautiful work Bev. The way you have faded the background flowers and detailed the foreground is masterful, and I love the little ladybird on the leaf! This is watercolour at its best. Total perfection!!!
