Devonshire Quilt

We rented a wee cottage in Devon a few years ago and this is my impression of the view from our cottage doorway. It was like being greeted by a little piece of heaven every morning.

Bev, I like this style and it is very beautiful. Our son married an English girl and they live in Cornwall close by. I have also visited Dorset where they married and lived before moving to Cornwall.

Great style! I love this painting – it reminds me of the ‘poster art’ style paintings used to advertise UK railway destinations back in the 20s and 30s. Lovely work.
