Fire Iris
Watercolour on 140 lb. Arches.
These vividly coloured iris were seen on a visit to our Royal Botanical Gardens last spring during the month of May. I couldn’t wait to get home and translate my impressions of their exciting colours into a watercolour painting, and was the result.
