Lady of the slum
I made this image in Klong Toi slum, Bangkok. This woman was going about her daily routine and as I shuffled through a narrow alley way I caught her out of the corner of my eye having a bath out of a bucket.
She was incredibely honoured to have a photograph made of her.

Thanks for the comments, I just wish redbubble would display images in their original condition instead of applying gross amounts of sharpening! The details in this original are absolutely stunning, she’s just had a cold shower and you can see every goose pimple on her skin. It doesn’t happen on any other online gallery.. why do they do it? Every artist processes their images as they want them to be seen, I don’t believe an image should be altered in anyway beyond the control of the artist!!! What to do?
