I live in Melbourne, and have been a keen landscape photographer since childhood. After many years using film, I started taking digital photos in 2005.

Taking the adage “don’t give up your day job” to heart, I earn my living as a university lecturer while enjoying the freedom of making images for my own enjoyment. To me photography is about capturing details of unique places and moments, which I hope to share with others. My main interests are landscape and macro, especially flowers. I’m very pleased to be a member of this wonderful online RedBubble community.

The slippers that are my avatar were on a window ledge in Ghivizzano, a small town in the hills above Lucca, Italy. I couldn’t resist!
