Purple Sky And The Moon In The Morning

did i really catch a glimpse of pretty
blue light lingering along my finger
with a remarkably familiar feature about it
is it’s life like the ones we’ve seen
with sticking to condensated glass at some point
short lived, and how surrounding is it
always with it’s kiss, farewell
the light blue still, an overlapping of article
and the very stumble, caught up in my old pair of feet
should i pack up all my cries
and no longer serve as an act in these galleries
behind locked doors and whatever curtains
mutually affordable
with the lip prints only of blood
from the very mouth put together by something deeper perhaps
than just the nature of our parents
and would this even prove to be more popular
in the likes of a more touching manner
than if i’d stay and knock down buildings
later to be shot down
by the connections of construction workers
or at best, not waking
from a long light’s sleep under a blanket of waters
who knows where the next flight out of here is going
check me if you’d like, i’ll be gone soon
counting my life away and then
hey, how’d that get past me..
with barely even a breath spoken
through those fingertips from earlier
seeing all these alikes between
no longer a barnyard
tug and ouch, but wait..
it’s almost still here
from the long festival we’ve partaken in
the scent of it’s youth still waving before our senses
someone take this hand, or is it the guide being built here
all of a sudden, she’s older than me
and i’ve been asked to wait through moonlights
well soaked up in following sign
a mind’s eye’s view
wearing the costume someone’d brought to the party
funny, where i keep my friends
and the cages of the birds i’d grown fond of
after all, you may not be at your side for long

This is really a whopper of a write. There’s too many great lines to quote so I won’t do it. I really like this. It says so much.
