Dreamland Relationship

you’ve more than been told
of a white hallway
where the curtains wave at you
you’ve now been home from your flight for a few months
the holiday leaves a pointy splatter at the etch of you
while at the walk and gaze
their poems lock fingers
a child while, you’re at the structure agreed to be beneath you
it crafts to your feet of the legs that erect you
not too far away from a science project
we all carry bags that hold numbers
and the words we brought to the song
it’s so set in the seas, we’re off chasing the winds
and we call home, the knowledge maintains a stir of thin air
i imagine, it’s hard to imagine me
still a soft ball dropped off
and was immediately picked up by the law of a toss
which aides in reminding me
in an elementary school gymnasium
i crawled into a large tent fueled by the likes of breaths
and a projector displayed a fascinating wall of stars
surrounding me and my fellow classmates
there, from that day
i wonder where these characters lead
following seasonal sidewalks
the name i know the tree by, carved into me
my day’s been written ever since
it’s about that time, i’ve gone to check the watch
where are you coming from
they’re all next month, and who am i gone with
