Thanks for visiting! I always imagine my colorful artwork being printed up in large sizes, or seen close up on pillows, phone cases, and other useful products. Color is the key to my art. When my prints are hung, they engage the viewer and create a mood. Even when the work is abstract, it may be about nature or human nature. Some people find my digital paintings somewhat musical.

I enjoy the color explorations and image variations, but I also am a photographer. My work in all media is about seeing and trying to understand the nature of the world. It’s my hope that the work will enhance people’s work and living spaces in an inspiring and thought-provoking way.

You can find my work on all the Redbubble products such as notecards, tee shirts, calendars, duvet covers, leggings, tote bags, mugs, and pillows. If one of my images interests you but you’d like to see it in a different color or on another product, please contact me through Bubblemail. It’s the same with calendars. I can make a calendar with any twelve of my images, and it can start on any month.

BIOGRAPHY: In addition to being an artist I am a garden writer. I was the lead writer for the book “The Gardener’s Home Companion” published by Macmillan, and was co-author of “Cutting Gardens” for Simon & Schuster. I write a garden column for The Hunt Magazine. I also publish garden books by other writers. You can see the rock, regional, fairy, citrus, and herb garden books I bring out at B. B. Mackey Books ( Lately I’ve been making them into Kindle books.

Thanks for reading this and looking at my work. These are my original works and are fully copyrighted. Many are shown only here on RedBubble. I enjoy fabric and surface design. Also I love abstract art and photography.

I am active on Pinterest as . I joined Zazzle as ColorDiva* and have pillows and other fun things there. I am in Society6 at where I like the tee shirts printed all over, and finding lots of RedBubble friends. I hope RedBubble will do tee shirts printed all over soon. The RedBubble leggings are great, and the new RedBubble scarves are a dream come true. I have bought some and they look great.
