Did you see the Bubble T-Shirt widget?

Posted 3 days ago

Today I made an effort to promote my work. I checked out the “promote” area of Redbubble, on the gray subtitle bar toward the right. There’s a great way to promote your shirts or art.

Thanks, Redbubble, for making a widget that lets you put creations on your own website with purchase buttons. I pasted in the code and now my shirts are up on my own site.

Of course no one has bought one ye…

Thanks, Redbubble, for the super three-day sale.

I just lowered the markup on my calendars, the new tee shirts, and some of the art.

If anyone wants to buy a piece that has not been marked down, let me know and I will lower the markup for it.

Also, I’m delighted to learn that Purple Gridlock was featured in the I Love Patterns group. Thanks, hosts!

Way to go, Redbubble!! —Betty

Thank you, thank you! Lucinda (Lucin) just had me put together a collection of her favorite colorful pieces of mine and make a custom calendar. It is called ‘Colors’ and she just bought it for a friend. I hope Lucinda and her friend get a nice blast of color and fun from it. Of course I got a big lift! Thanks again, Lucin.

September 19, 2009. I am so pleased to be told by the hosts that my photograph “Moon Gate” was featured today in “A Garden somewhere…” This means a lot to me for there is beautiful work holding to very high standards in this group. It’s an honor to have a picture accepted, let alone featured. Thank you, hosts!

Features, Friends, and Calendars

Posted 2 months ago

Today was a great day for me here on the Bubble. I got so many messages from kind friends—it gives me a glow. I finished and posted a new calendar, “Garden Troughs and Planters” which has lots of unpublished photos in it. And, I heard that two of my works were featured, “Now What” and “What Was She Thinking.” Thank you, hosts!

“Now What” is sort of a self portrait and not a flattering one…

Video of Mackey art on YouTube.

Posted 2 months ago

Just for fun I made and posted a video of my colorful abstract digital images on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhQXjVQfoFk The jazzy music is by my younger son but he didn’t want credit! The images pan, shrink, or grow gently as it flows along. Each frame has the image name.

I used the program ProShow Gold. It is from www.photodex.com and is fairly inexpensive and also offers a f…
