Artist's Description

Bernardino Luini (about 1480 – 1532), was the most famous Milanese painter of the early 16th century.

Some time ago I came across one of his works, in a very old book.

This work of his, “The Virgin with the Christ Child and Saint John the Baptist”, was the source of inspiration for my painting.
