A Shoulder to Cry On no. 2 by Elisabeta Hermann
The musician’s heart is hurt. She is crying quietly in her room, on the shoulder of her best friend…her cello.
I did this drawing for Drawing Day – 2010 on June 05.
I wanted to keep this drawing as a simple line drawing!.
I started at 3:00 pm, took me @ 3+ hours with some cigarette break included.
For this drawing I used one pencil, a General’s CHARCOAL (557 – 6B ex. Soft).
Actually, first I made a brief sketch, just for the main elements, with a HB pencil…:)
Was a great experience for me; I had to be very, very careful because the CHARCOAL pencil was sooooooo soft.
Was the fist time for me that I used this type of pencil!
