… the woods of Epping are turning out in their finest autumn gold … not all have been to change yet ;) … the coming days and weeks will see the display getting all the more grand :)
… this really should be enjoyed large :)

thanks so much Mark :) … indeed – mother nature was kind to me … though it was less the early start that was effort, it was more the fact that I was out there walking for five and a half hours ;)
Sure I spotted an Ent in there somewhere, you are so lucky to have this on your doorstep Tina
Richard … if it wasn’t for the fact that I can head out there on weekends … I would have lost the plot in the city a long time ago … It’s where I regain my connection to life … my inner peace and balance … When I had to chose where I want to live (about three years ago now), that’s how I worked it out – either I want the woods or the ocean within easy access … both would be even better … and all the while I still need easy access to the city job … (and I’ll leave my public comments at that, before I say things that may get me into trouble ;) …)
Thank you for you support and encouragement Richard … very much appreciated! …
yeah! ;) … though I’ve contemplated Brighton on several occasions since … or also Greenwich (no forest of ocean, but loads of creative spirits ;) …) … I’m growing ever fonder of the woods here though … shan’t be going anywhere soon … :)

Wonderful light here Bettina.
thanks so much Daniel … I was delighted that the sun peeked through the clouds every so often to treat us to the gold of the turning autumn colours
