I find there seems to be a brief “season” where the conditions are “right” in the woods up here and the likelihood of encountering such light-plays is up … unfortunately I spend way too much time cooped up in an office in the city, so I’m not “out there” half as much as I’d like to try and capture stuff like this … ...

lol … nature surely does perform and rise to the occasion in far more style that what we could ever stage :)

thank you so much Helene … in this case it is mother nature who created and offered her display and I just had to “be there” ... truly, I’ve often stood at that spot wanting an image of it in some way, but it never seemed to have the right sort of lighting to look like much … I guess my patience was rewarding by this spectacular and truly extraordinary display!

it was a magical kinda day! I was filled with wonder and wow-ing for most of the day – the display that nature put on – incredible! Was just extremely delighted to have been out there – right place right time, you know ;)
