Theidea may be is artistically unintended… but instinctive…the eyes are just placed in the center of the work. And their half closed expression are revealing the importance of delight in the culture of whine drinking… having the notion of getting closer to the gods, once our daily basis thoughts are sent to the cellars of the mind… and one can let the subconscious emerge through the inner presence.
The style is beautiful, colorist but not in excess….dettaching the beautiful shade of the vines, the splendid prespective with the temple. I love very much the hair of the figure, very modern with almost a full palette and a dominant of cut circles, that give modernism and expressivity. An splendid fussion with the naturalistic environ, with leaves and vine grains.

Hi Elisabetta! I’ve been away from the Bubble for a long time and just revisiting some of the work I enjoy. Love all of your work, but this time around this painting captured my attention. You have such a fine sense of color and how to use it effectively. It has this art nouveau flavor to it, but there’s this other emotional element happening, too. You are so talented.
