what an amazing work of art this is .. magnificent

I looked and looked at many of your works, all of them more incredible than the next, but this one, this one takes my breath away. I am Greek and grew up in a Greek town (sorta) and I loved to go down to the docks and watch the sponge divers fix their nets, and boats. One man had a carving business, he was blind in one eye and he carved these for the expensive ships that went out further into the atlantic. I would sit at watch him for hours if my grandparents would let me, and he always told me, to come over here and feel this wood, she’s telling me she needs something here, do you think so too? I swear I thought he was magic. This brought that lovely memory back to me and I thank you. This work is stunning.
