Well I won a challenge over in Just Watercolours to paint this image I submitted. And thought I should have a go myself. Link to Challenge:
As I was originally a painter,(too many year ago to note)… when I took a photograph it was often for the painting potential. I just have not had time to paint much. Now I am pushing myself to paint again, (but mostly in watercolours, not oil – a challenge in itself).
Anyway, I just took a section of the buildings and moved the Lone Gondolier over a bit, to get a different look (ok… and to reduce the time needed for all those wonderful buildings – I thought that was a bit too much for me to tackle)
