No Time for Tea Anymore...Obsolete.. by

Old and crusty lime stained kettle, no longer in use, it’s not the modern option.
It is almost impossible to find a kettle like this in Spain, as electric ones seem to be the only thing available. This old thing was on our property when we bought it.

  • Thanks David, it’s for a challenge, I find challenges a great way of helping me explore all the different aspects of photography, mostly ‘cos I haven’t a clue!

Tea kettles have gone out of style here, too. I still see a few in stores. A wonderful nostalgic piece.

  • Thank you so much Lori, and thanks for the fave :)

Beautiful capture Berns, reminds me of when I was young, making tea on the coal stove.

  • Thanks Colin, we actually use this sometimes, in the summer it’s too hot to cook inside, so it gets a clean up and use it at our outside kitchen!

Great shot! My mother and grandmother used one of these!

  • I still love them! I have been on the hunt for a new one for ages, we have solar power and an electric kettle is a really bad use of energy, so we tend to boil water in a pot, Thanks Hon :)
