Standing with a blank canvas before her
Light streaming thru the window
Her mind wonders to a place
Where the flowers bloom
She sees a unique one
So different from the rest
Colors so vivid and rare
She begins!
Brush flowing, a stroke here and circle there
Slowly it appears
Her vision is unfolding, coming to life
Standing back she looks
Wanting to portray it in all its beauty
Adding shade here and highlights there
No time to stop now
Humming a tune as she works
Feeling alive expressing herself
Time goes by so fast
Light begins to fade
Before her, she sees it.
Just as in her vision
Happy with her work
She adds her name
This beautiful creation here now
How thankful she is
To have this gift
For all to see
