My Place by Bernadette Loring

Posted on April 27, 2007

Leaving my home I drive
To a place so serine and tranquil
This my spiritual place
Time to think sort and heal

From the car I step
Deep breath I do take
Eyes closed feeling the wonderment

Breeze blowing waves crashing
Looking out I see its beauty
Children, family’s pets

These all disappear as I start my journey
To my place forget the world
Along the pier I walk
Seeing the emerald green waves
White peaks forming rolling crashing

My soul is have !
