Rooney Mara played key character Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo the London premiere of which this photo was taken.
I’ve read the book, watched the Swedish version and watched the American version as well. All are great. Mara was great in it – maybe she’s not quite “unpretty” enough to play Salander as she was written, but she got the ‘damaged’ and antisocial elements of the character very right.
Saw it in the UK over New Year, one of the best films I`ve seen in ages. And yeah, she just absolutely rocked. Can`t wait for the sequels! Kinda weird seeing her look so normal. But very cool :-) Nice shot!!
