Cheer the Hell Up! by berndt2

I suspect based on my latitude I’ll be walking to work from the train station in darkness for about 7 months of the year. I try to vary the route, but this picture drawn on a white lightbox along the way makes me smile. (Today I noted that the bulb inside the plastic had burned out. D’oh!)

Also, its an inadvertent and ironic homage to ‘2001 a space odyssey’. Ain’t no benevolent civilisations out there looking after US I would think.

Bernd Talasch doesn’t remember being hatched in a research laboratory in Omaha in the late 1950s so maybe that never happened. (Placeholder bio – remember to replace).

Had to lend my GPS to NASA. Where’s this?

  • Hello – it’s just off Euston Road near/across St Pancras – Belgrove Street I think (past the Pret on the corner…but somebody needs to fix the light in it!)
