Can’t believe it – actual snow, actually settling (however briefly and lightly) in London. This is one of the lions at the base of Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square, looking rather cold. In the background you can just make out the soft silhouette of Big Ben, too.

Needless to say, it was quite cold, and involved a real compromise between taking some pretty rare shots of London versus getting to the nearest train station before chaos descended and the cold weather started to shut everything down…
