Clooney, The Fantastic Mr Fox Premiere, in London.

I actually scored an autograph as he diligently worked his way through our part of the crowd. Regrettably, his autograph consists of a not-very-stylised ‘GC’ that looks indistinguishable from ‘CC’, ‘GG’ or indeed’ CG’. So you could look at it an accuse me of having faked it, or at best passed off the autograph of former West Indian cricketer and opening batsman Gordon Greenidge as that of George Clooney.

Such is the randomness of my life, clearly.

Kind of randomly, I got photos of him the following day at the premiere for The Men Who Stare At Goats

Bernd Talasch doesn’t remember being hatched in a research laboratory in Omaha in the late 1950s so maybe that never happened. (Placeholder bio – remember to replace).

Oh come on now !! I have to put my jealousy badge on – I put this imaginary badge on when I see a shot I would love to have taken. George’s expression and the detail of his hand on the arm of his companion The light on his face and her arm and the defocused background of the Mezzanine. A real winner !!!
