Nobody Cares by

Sometimes you just can’t script these sort of photos. I’d taken a couple of the empty footpath featuring just the door with the chalk writing.

Then, out of nowhere, people with suitcases! Awesome 8)

Location: Drury Lane, London.

About berndt2

Bernd Talasch doesn’t remember being hatched in a research laboratory in Omaha in the late 1950s so maybe that never happened. (Placeholder bio – remember to replace).

Wow, sort of an iconic shot of the times… nobody cares, so we just grab our bags and piss off!
This is a wonderful reportage shot. You got just the right composition and movement in the passers by to convey the motion while maintaining enough detail to make them interesting. I also like the symmetry of the windows and paneling, and your BW processing is dynamic and punchy. Nice work!

Sensational! What a great find.. even without the people I’d like this, but it is a perfect representation of modern, city life. Particularly the randomness with which it all came about..
