It seems that every four weeks or so I post what I’ve been up to over a three or so week period in the past. Mathematically, this inevitably results in me falling further and further behind, thus turning a cutting edge current journal-style thing, into somewhat of a pleasing retrospective. I think.
Anyway, when I last updated, I’d Come back from Italy and photographed Keira Knightley as well as Philip Seymour Hoffman and a Cheer The Hell Up Lightbox . Here’s how the next three weeks following that went down:

November 7th. Crime Author P.D.James turns out to be an older woman with crazy Doc Brown hair! (The chalk outline was digitally inserted by me in tribute)

November 8th. It has been a relatively mild late autumn to date. I guess it makes sense that this tree has lost only about half of its leaves.

November 9th. Protesters march by near my office . They’re angry about something and the police were out in overkill-force, but I found time to do a bit of a glamour shot. You know… because I can.

November 10th. Occupy Wall Street’s London Branch is still in operation (for now). Photo for the day was afterwards, though.

November 11th. Well, it’s finally happened. A Pentax turns out in the press area of a Red Carpet event and it happens to be mine! But those photos taken (Peter Andre, Prince&Princess Michael of Kent, Louie Spence, Craig Revel-Horwood and others I had to learn the identity of later) weren’t nearly as cool as Battersea Power station, taken afterwards.

November 12th. I might not have been allowed to take photos inside the Princess Anne theatre when Charlize Theron was interviewed by BAFTA, however nobody but excess paparazzi and autograph hunters could stop me attempting to take photos in the five seconds or so she took to walk from the car to the door. I then waited a discreet amount of time, and went in too.

November 13th. Partial tribute to Andreas Gursky, whose ‘Rhine II’ sold for $4.3million… however his photo was much less interesting and far more impressive than a dog crouching near a tree that’s lost most of its yellow leaves onto a green lawn.

November 14th. In the name of ‘Art’ I have decided that my One Photo Per Day portfolio needs at least one (1) totally blurry shot. Hey… just google “Andreas Gursky Rhine II” and ask whether what I’m doing is invalid.

November 15th. Some days this is every day

November 16th. One day songs may be written about what I had to go through to get even this excellently posed (but, yes, mildly motion blurred) photo of Kristen Stewart at the Twilight Breaking Dawn Premiere . Still, I was indoors while most of the 2500-odd fans were outdoors in the cold. (As for the movie? Who knows…)

November 17th. White Portal, London. Pre-Dawn. Stuff’s weird. (Did I mention I went to the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 Premiere?)

November 18th. Squirrel, clearly not nervous… and I didn’t even have any snacks to share. (Squirrel, fortunately also not vengeful)

November 19th. Birmingham’s Bullring gets Photo for the Day, just as it does every time we go to the Christmas Markets there. And one day I’ll photograph it properly. Sadly, construction has meant both obstructed views AND the closure of the local Gloria Jeans (NoooooOOOOOoo!!!)

November 20th A rare Double Premiere day – Elijah Wood and Robin Williams for Happy Feet 2 and about two hours after that there was an impromptu mini-Harry Potter reunion at My Week With Marilyn

November 21st. Basil Fawlty himself – John Cleese dropped by Radio1 to showcase some of his undiminished customer service skills 8) … (actually he seems really nice in person)

November 22nd. Bill Fury Way graffiti, West Hampstead.

November 23rd. It’s not the done thing to take photos of celebs inside BAFTA’s Princess Anne Theatre, so I took this shot of that fountain near Piccadilly Circus before catching Sir David Attenborough’s “The Bachelor King” a penguin pseudo-documentary (scripted reality I guess you’d call it).

November 24th. The Puss In Boots premiere brought out the most animal of behaviours in Autograph Dealer scum… but it also brought out the breakdancer in Antonio Banderas. Mixed results, in other words.

November 25th. Leaf. Falling. Autumn is finally getting its groove on with five days left to play.

November 26th. And the Christmas lights are up in St Albans!
Wow. So that was that up to the end of November. I’m pretty sure we all know that the next three weeks can’t possibly match that… or can it? My one word hint would be Scorcese
Birgitta .
Oooh, I especially like the 6th one down! I love that your work is so free. :) You don’t try to be super-clean and perfect. There’s an amazing amount of liberty in your creativity I think. Thanks for sharing this, B!
Mel Brackstone...
