It’s just a little bit of graffiti and it’s hurting nobody. In a world where large billboards shout at you, where advertisers are so brazen they now openly advertise the fact that you can ‘hit’ 2.5million customers a week by letting them help you put yet more ads in train carriages to a captive audience, I see a small rat with a faded sign as not just something quaint, but something vital.
Because the voice of dissent these days doesn’t get to be colourful and all-pervasive.
It’ll probably get buffed over soon enough – after all, it’s the perfect spot for an ad for winter cosmetic surgery or a new bottled mineral water that promises even more fun than other bottled mineral waters
