I like this piece mainly because in it the darkness has an ominous tinge to it while the dawn looks like it’s washing away the darkness (not pictured : the smell of cow manure coming from the fields)

this is a glorious landscape…... I too love the contrast between light and dark, drifting in from opposite sides to merge in the centre…..
(I can add the c.m.smell by opening my window, as I live on a dairy farm lol)
