Hi my name is Bernie, I am 36 and love photography, I should of studied it when I was younger but didnt. But I am having loads of fun studying now.
I am a mother of 3 wonderful kids (Angel), (Scott) and (Lani). Group Shot and Wife to my great husband Craig

1. *I am also Legally Blind…

I use the viewfinder more than the display as it allows me to focus more and it also blocks out other distracting light

See I have slight (approx 3%) vision in my right eye which is like constantly seeing something out of the corner of your eye.

So I am constantly seeing 2 images – that little bit of sight out of the right and maybe around 20% in my left. this amount is to left side and a little in the middle. and even that is hazy.

The camera I use is now a fujifilm finepix HS10, It is still a compact but has a lot of DSLR features like a wide angle lens and it zooms to 720mm, which is handy for me as I do find it hard to get to those places people with good sight can get to.. I used to use a kodak digi. I managed to get some good shots off the Kodak. Like this one – Half Portrait. and also Sydney Harbour Bridge
