Thanks Brandi. It was a lot of fun walking around Kabul and meeting enjoyable people like these two men! I really like their smiles. I’ll post this photograph on Islamic Beauty later on.

Thanks Ben, It took about 2 hours to do by myself. It was hard to get the lighting right without getting flare on the frame or shadows on the face. Nearly punched the camera!

I think it’s somewhere between Lebanon and Dubai… isn’t it..? Ha ha! Actually, as you know, Afghanistan is not in the Middle East… it’s considered to be a part of Central or South Asia, determined apparently by whoever is doing the considering. Afghanistan is in… well… Afghanistan.
And while we’re on the subject… is Dubai in the Middle East? Ha ha! Whether it is or not, what an amazing place!
