    Never seen that species of Wasp before, but that’s definitely Scarlet Milkweed

  • Thank you Kane! I probably should have realized that it is a milkweed, since I have seen plenty of monarchs on them. As for the wasp, it seems like I have looked several times on BugGuide and WhatsThatBug but not found it. There are plenty shown that are yellow and black, but not yellow and brown.
