Holy Thursday
The orthodoxe church of Panagia of Kapnikarea (Ermou str., Athens GR) was built around the year 1000 AD. It is a typical example of the Byzantine style, and it fonctions without interruption for about a thousand years now. The photo was taken during the last orthodoxe Holy Thursday liturgical service.
