This photo is a departure from my normal art. This image and series is a bit darker through a collaboration with model who wanted something very different from her normal shoots. I’m really happy with the results, I hope I don’t scare too many of my friends away.

Tech stuff:
Canon 5d mark ii
Aperture: F/8
Shutter: 1/60

Thats what I call a bad hair day :-) But seriously Ben, this is brilliant, I really love that you’ve been able to go with her desires and follow a completely new direction, as scary as it is. Love the processing, its really really effective.

  • Thanks Trish, your comments are so thoughtful! It was a bit different going this way but was fun, challenging and a little scary..but so positive. The processing was done in Adobe Lightroom, they have a beta version that is free until April and it is awesome.

Oh yeah! This is brilliant Ben! You’ve created such a great mood here technically but have also captured that emotion so well with her expression especially in the eyes. Bravo to you for trying something different because in my opinion it has really paid off……….I LOVE this :)

  • Thanks Shelly, I haven’t had a comment from you for a while, so we must have done something cool. Thanks for your super thoughtful comments I really appreciate..but I appreciate even more that you only leave comments and favs when you really mean it, your the best!
