Driving out through farming properties near Dayboro I noticed a property with not one but two hills with a beautiful lonely tree on each. This is one of them. I knocked on the door to ask for permission to shoot and the lady who answered the door told me that they had buried their favourite old dog under this tree. She didn’t say what his name was but he must have been very loved. I was able to try out my new Pentax DA 15mm ED AL Limited prime lens, along with the equally new B+W infrared 092 filter on my Pentax K100D Super. 15mm, f11, 0.7 sec, ISO 200. I will drive back out there and drop a cd of this image into her letterbox, I hope she likes it.
