A bit of night photography, taken during the full moon.
310 sec exposure @ f8, ISO 200. Pentax K20D
This is the large aft section of the wreck of the SS Gayundah, which sits apart from the rest of the ship. It’s located at Woody Point in Queensland.
The lights of Brisbane can be seen in the distance.
For something different I walked along the shoreline popping a flash as I went to ‘freeze’ some textures into the water.

ocean, beach, water, boat, wreck, ship, gayundah, long exposure, night photography

Wow Ben, this is fabulous, I love how you have included the “lights” of Brisbane in the distance, the wreck and water are just great, love it
Noooice.
Couple of pigs and some pyro features and you’d have a reall winner though!!
Magnificent work Ben, the whole image is fabulous :-)
Looks superb!
Beats me how you came up with the 310s exposure time – it certainly seemed to work, though!
Top shot!
