Turning the Tide
For this one I set up the tripod in the water and took a bulb exposure of around 1.5 minutes followed immediately by another at 0.5 sec with a wide aperture, then combined the two exposures in photoshop.
Taken on a Pentax K20D

Great image for the 0.5s exposure at the wide aperture did you focus on the rock or just leave it at infinity? Did you use an ND filter to get 1.5 mins exposure?
Dave
bensound replied
Hi David, with landscapes I always focus 1/3 of the way into the frame which in this case was the rock, so I kept the same focus for both shots, I did use a Cokin graduated ND4 filter which I should have included in the description ! Thanks very much for commenting.
bensound
