“Rainbow? Enquires the commissioning Editor of BBC television during the 70’s and 80’s.
“Kids TV show about the exploits of an unemployed bloke living off state benefits called Geoffrey and his flat mates who include a furry pink homosexual Hippopotamus, a large camp naked bear and some sort of furry orange bondage creature with a zip over its mouth.
“Brilliant! Let’s run with it”
I can’t imagine who in their right mind would think that Rainbow was a great idea. Clearly they failed to realize the significance of broadcasting such a morally corrupt and sexually diverse show to young and impressionable children. A couple of decades later and we’re already seeing the ill effects of such an irresponsible scheduling decision.
George, the gay hippo, has opened the door to homosexual bestiality. Zippy has started a trend in sadomasochistic behavior and Geoffrey has been a guiding light to those wanting to live their entire life on government handouts. If all that debauchery wasn’t enough, neighbors Rod, Jane and Freddy are busy having gangbang next door, openly encouraging orgies and sacrificial cults.
Of course this is far from an isolated incident. Adults rarely see just how damaging and far removed from reality Kid’s TV shows actually are.
Most of the programming ideas for children’s television are spawned from a factory located in the mid west of America. Ex Vietnam veterans are rounded up and fed lethal amounts of hallucinogenic narcotics. Left for days on end with only a pen and paper, they scribble down their delusions in return for food and water. Such nightmarish images have come to our screens in the form of Sesame Street and the Teletubbies.
