The Finale
The Finale belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Everyday Life, Something To Say and WMGThe bright lights took him
And it seemed as though the journey could never end
Would never end
He vowed
Knowing this night to be his last
The darkness hid many surprises
The light passed through him
His soul pumped full of life given on loan
Sucked him dry
He knew deep down
This night would be his last
The darkness creeping closer
A sharp pain shook him
Its suddenness stripped away his bravado
Sobered him instantly
He clung to hope
Hating the fear that took its place
The darkness lay in wait
He lay there on the ground so helpless
The music still pounding away within him
The night remaining quiet
A silence so absolute
That none could quite dismiss it
The darkness claimed him
