Ben Pateman

Im originally from England, now I live in Kildare, Ireland with, daughter and son. I have been in Ireland since 2000, great country.
Im a professional artist (just!), teach art to children and young people, I have illustrated a book and do the odd commision every now and again.
I love all visual art specifically oil paintings My main concern is using colour, I love the vibrancy of oil paint but I often experiment with different styles and mediums. Most of my work has been experimental up until now and I think Im getting closer to establishing a natural style.I think I learn something new with every painting I complete and just hope my work keeps improving.
