First off I really hate writing stuff about myself, so forgive me if this is a little uninteresting, I’ve lived and worked on a remote island Barramundi farm situated on the coast line of the western Kimberley region in Western Australia, for about five years now. I spend a great deal of time on the farm away from home….. hence there are a lot of images that I take that are based with in the “confines” of the farm.
The farm is an extremely dynamic place with so much life and the colour perpetually amaze me… I spend my weeks away from work in the pearling port of Broome, mostly fishing and and of course the odd photo gets taken from time to time. I really dig all forms of photography, as long as it is a balanced, meaningful work. I’m currently using a Canon 400D, but I’m looking to make a move into the world of medium format.
